Would be nice if it had the River Nene all the way to Sutton Bridge (UK) its only about 5 miles from me, get lots of scrap and lumber coming in there. _________________ Cheers

We could have a field day with this version of the game. You can have the Nene and I'll have all the small Humber/Ouse/Trent ports, each having their own capacity with regards length/draught etc so that sometimes the small coasters are better |

Eine relativ einfache Variante der Frachtannahme wäre folgendes:
Außer Passagieren und Fahrzeugen akzeptiert ein Hafen nicht die Waren, die er anbietet. (z.B. Djakarta würde keinen Flugzeugtreibstoff annehmen)
A simple variant of the receiving freight system would be the following:
Except Passengers and Vehicles, a harbor would not accept goods, it offers. (for example Djakarta would not accept A1 Fuel)

hello poc players
I think only a line of accepting is enough. Maybee you know the game of railroad tycoon 1.
In this game there is an option of accepting goods. so you onlo can bring cargo there if the (city) in the poc game harbour accept it.

I am not sure it s the same in rr tycoon 2. I only played that once but the train in this version run right through each other. I dont like that. RR tycoon 1 is a dos version but you can play this under windows. i think it is the best version. You can build bridges make tunnels and there is an option that the trains have to wait for each other by a signal station on a one way track.
great game.

i'm still dreaming from north killingholme on the river humber, discharging potash or loading coal.you can't pump any ballast in that mud there, lying in the ground at low water.and at half tide one of the north sea ferries vessels passed and we went abt 5meters more back in the river, because the bullards went off the ground and our foreropes were lying in that nice mud......nightmares!!!! brgds mooringman |
