we need some photos of starboard or port side lights (red/green) below the bridge at the nock or similar positon, not the light alone but in the context of a ship showing the mounting of those lights.
Searching in google / flickr does not help as the resolution is mostly only 1-5 pixels.
Only of large ships !
Its for the modelling part of pocsim3dii as we want to have some more precise solution,
plesae send fotos or links to poc@rdklein.de |

Hello,
Have you found what you are looking for?
If not I can send a PDF with, among others, the position and such of lights..
Pages 64 to 74 of the Port of London, Bylaws... are basically the International rules for the lights on ships...it should be interesting for updating lights on ships, and for modifying the soundsignals on the AI traffic.
I'll send it if you are interested...
Greetz

would be great to get the real fotos, the theory is quite clear, escpeciall on the large merchant ships its hard to see the lights in fotos, sometimes I can image them at the NOCK sides or above maybe on top.
For small ships its not that problem.
We also night a niht foto of a coast guard ship fi possible. |
