The new version 0.99.62 is online.
Also the Differenz updater:
Incremental Download (about 39 MB) - if you already have a recent version of PoC (0.99.0 or higher)
Full installation:
get the Full Download (49 MB) - 0.99.62
it contains:
1. new translated stuff - german languagefile
2. Highscore now also possible with VISTA, which had a problem before
starting the browser.
3. some updated language files.

diese version habe ich gestern probiert.
(wir haben zu zweit gespielt).
-
die statistik (oben links im hauptmenü) verschwindet irgendwann nach oben. (mein firmenvermögen überstieg während des spielverlaufes über 5 mio. - vom zweiten spieler (unter 5 mio.) war noch zu sehen.
-
in der frachtbörse wurde (auf der rechten seite über der reservierungsmöglichkeit) der text auf englisch angezeigt. |

das mit der statistic muss ich mir ansehen, bitte einen screendump an poc@rdklein.de senden
die frachtboersenartikel sind noch englisch, da muss ich im programm noch mehr tun, um eine zuordnungsliste der waren zu erzeugen, sonst muesste man alle dateien übersetzen (fracht xml und harbour xml). |

aaahh,
jetzt ist die anzeige wieder richtig, nachdem gespeichert u. neu gestartet wurde. während des spielverlaufes war mein statistikbalken oberhalb des bildes verschwunden, da max. 5 mio. angezeigt wurden.
jetzt ist auf 30 mio. erweitert worden.

Habe einen kleinen Schreibfehler gefunden.
Wenn man im Meneu Charter ist, sehr ganz oben Links An Bord der (Schiffsname). Das Wort Bord ist klein geschrieben. Nichts was auf das Spiel Einfluß hat, jedoch ein Fehler, der bestimmt schnell zu beheben ist :D |

attention, when you are first time user of ports of call and use the full setup, some of the maps are not installed up to this version,
use the online updater for the next version it will be corrected,
or if you know how to use teh DOS command, you can use "pocxxl recov" within the bin directory and the missing files are downloaded. |

Status report 20070729 --
to give a better overview whats going on at the moment here my tasktlist:
Not all will be in the next release but many (all in works and dones).
pocxxl
- new xml formats and splitting of all load/save moduls (DONE)
- save and load of games for use with addons (in work)
we work on this as with different game loads and saves
and addons a new format is necessary
ATTENTION: for current players with ADDONs on the old way,
you might get problems with the new system-
- joystick with directx (in work)
- sound control for all sounds in poc (in work)
- office and freightmarket open problem (in work)
- check all harbour maps (because new) - done
- check for container and cars loading in finseal (in work)
- sand areas for pocxxl (done for 3d)
- new ships should have 100% (bug fixed - there were several inconsitencies - DONE)
- preos and status 0 required (done)
- jahre viking parameter adjust (done)
- new harbour images from volunteers (done)
- AI player blinking optional off (in work)
- AI player messages off option (in work)
later:
- paramater change with small colliding with 3dsimii (in work)
- network parameters with addonship for xxl+3dsimII (in work)
pocsim3dII
- sound settings as option
- detailed model of San Franzisco (we got a nice 3d part whih helps) (in work)
- keep pocsim3dii open when started through pocxxl for speedup
- generator for automatic large town areas (in work most done test in new york )
- collision for bridges with a new vertical shape (done)
- addon ship and network signatur (done)
- harbour overview map from main scene - new HOTKEY shows current position and destination at any time during the simulation (done - PRESS F3)
- locks in all harbours (in work partially done )
- ships with new collsions shapes modelled (done)
- new cranes and details for the harbours (in work)
- harbour name search now with fuzzy names (needed because some different names prevent finding habours like bankkok, ---) might be also used with the user addons in xxl (done) |

still working on the save and load for user addons,
we also have to solve an ocx update problem, as on my new machine some ocx are newer than used till now, and the updater cannot handle this at the moment, but we have some ideas.
Hope we also get a joystick control working with this feature. |
