Tach gesagt Very Happy

... um mit meiner Wenigkeit mal vorstellig zu werden ...

Ich bin ein 30-jähriger Saupreuße aus dem schönen Potsdam (bzw. knapp daneben)

Wenn ich nicht gerade am PC sitze versuche ich meinen alternden Körper etwas sportlich zu betätigen oder verbringe die Zeit berufsbedingt, im Tiefflug, auf der Straße. (nee Hr. Wachtmeister ich war nicht zu schnell ... die Anderen sind einfach nur zu langsam Razz

)

Mein größtes Hobby ist, das Leben jeden Tag etwas mehr zu genießen und sich und seine Umwelt nicht immer so furchtbar ernst zu nehmen. Wo bliebe denn sonst der Spaß am Leben?

Über PoC bin ich das erste mal zu Ur-PC Zeiten gestolpert und irgendwie daran hängen geblieben.
Und das ist auch gut so!! ... würde Wowie jetzt sagen. Wink

Werde mich bemühen ab und an hier auch ein paar neue Schiffe oder Frachten bereit stellen zu könne. Wenn das Angebot noch steht (?), sollten sie dann auf Zootiers Seite zu finden sein.

P.S. Vor vielen Jahren sind die englische Sprache und meine Person darin überein gekommen das wir einfach nicht zusammen passen!
Deswegen wird es mich hier wohl nur in Deutsch geben. Embarassed

Hi everybody!!

I`m Bjoern and i am nautical officer (okay, it´s a surprise with this name ! Laughing

) in the age of 34. I am living in Bremen/Germany.

I learnd about the original PoC in my time at school about twoandahalf centuries ago on the amiga 500 and was very glad to see the story continuing, espacially as it is a game, where everybody can have his fingers and fantasy in.

It drove already several times with me on HANJIN- Liners to asia and back and in my job in the moment as surveyor the game helped me very much. With it I can survive the waiting hours on Copenhagen Airport on the way to St. Petersburg.
Nothing against Denmark, a wonderful country, but the airport in Copenhagen is somewhere close to hell! Smile

I´m a 41 Year old male and my village is between Cologne and Düsseldorf near the Rhine in Germany.
I play POC since the first edition on amiga. I find it´s great.

Ich bin 41 Jahre , männlich und wohne in einer Gemeinde zwischen Köln und Düsseldorf in der Nähe vom Rhein in Deutschland.
Ich spiele POC schon seit der allerersten Ausgabe auf dem Amiga- ich müsste noch das alte Spiel irgendwo aufbewahrt haben.
An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich natürlich auch für die tollen beiträge und nicht zuletzt für die Erweiterungen bedanken. Very Happy

I'm a 44 old man, but my mind is still young. So i do occasiononally have periodes that I feel like 18. Laughing

I live in Hamburg and studied physics, made my diploma at the DESY (Deutsches Elektronen Syncroton); Theme: Using residual gas ionisation to observe hight energy particle beams.

Long, long ago, in the late 80ties, i played POC in my old AMIGA 500 shamely a unregistred version. Embarassed

I thought it was freeware.
Newer had the idear that there is a new version of POC existing, that runs under DOS or WINDOWS.

A couple weeks ago I found POC-CLE and decides to buy it for my step-son. Newer had the idear that there is a new version of POC that runs under DOS or WINDOWS.
By looking for support I found POC-XXL, tried it out, and decided that this product of RDK earns as many support as we can give.
Due to this I registred as a platinum user.

I hope that I'm able to add some helpful things and idears.
