I'm a Realtor.
I play POC in spare time.
Having problems with it right now, I'll try to fix it before I bother anyone with it. |

after you installed your license code, a licens ebutton should be in the main screen of poc xxl, click there and then use the dispalyed number for the forum and enter it into the forum profile. |

O.K. Part of the problem is that I didn't print out my certificate from Turbo Squid on 10 Oct 2007, it charged my account on the 11th, and now it's not there anymore. I misunderstood how long it would be available, and I was trying to get to a color printer to print it. I just copied down the info I thought was needed. Obviously, I was wrong.
When I go to the game options page of XXL and request serial #, it sends me here: http://www.pocxxl.com/xxl/ . I can't get it to work, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I e-mailed you and got no response.
I've got XXL registered, all I want is to unlock the classic version.
P.S. What did you think about the mercenary idea? |

yes turbosdquid is a special case,
sorry that you dont get an anser, but sometimes its hard to distinguish between spam (we get 100er an hour) and useful emails, sometimes without subject etc.
please send me an email again to poc@rdklein.de
subject =poc turbosquid
and in the text body describe the problem again and enter your data so we can add you in the license list manually. |

hello gents,
my name is Ruud and I'm from a town nearby Rotterdam, Netherlands.
I am playing POC since the amiga 500 edition, and now I play POC XXL on my laptop. My job is Terminal Operator at Vopak Tank Terminals Botlek (Chemical liquids)
and before I was a seaman, started as a A/B and my highest rank was chief mate on several ships (tugboats and coastguard).
I've sailt for around 4 years on vessels from Wagenborg Shipping Company carrying a lot of different dry cargo's. |

Many thanks to Rolf-Dieter and all the other application programmers and supporters who made this realy great game possible.

I'm a 37 year old IT system engineer. I played POC on my friends Amiga at first in 1985. I forgot all about the game until just recently, where I bumped into it in the German c't computer magazine. Purchased a platinum license. I grew up partly in Hull U.K. And I'm now living in Oberbüren Switzerland.
This article was written from my iPhone - my newest gadget.
A question: Will POC run from a memory stick. I'll try it out.
keep up the good work

Hi,
I'm a 63 year old retired Project Manager, a position that had a lot of traveling. I purchased a Platinum license to support the POC team and show my appreciation of the good work already done.
POC brings back many memories of places that I have visited, my travels took me East to Asia, Honk Kong, Malaya, Philipines etc. and also took me West to Canada, USA and the Carabean.
Why POC ?
POC is a simulation that wakes the imagination and at the same time is very constructive with trading of goods, banking, stocks and bonds, also the variety of ships and the various Ports of Call allover the world.
All in All one of the best simulations on the market, sure there are a few things that could be improved, here a few joggers:
Monitor 1024 x 768, makes full use of the monitor.
Simulation speed, unfortunately gone since the last update.
Sticky version crashing, hopefully rectified on the next update.
Switching from XXL to 3dsimII in the simulation takes time and is annoying, hopefully something is likely to be done!
As already said a good simulation, keepup the good work. |

pocsim3dii later can be open all the time, will be done in one of the next updates,
the next update (soon) will bring back the sim slider. |
