I have been playing Ports Of Call since it originally came out on Amiga in 1988. I enjoy playing games where you buy and sell to get money to increase/improve my equipment.
I now play it every day because last April I had a very horrifying industrial accident. A 4 ton steel plate peeled off a magnetic crane and fell to the ground. It hit me in the left leg instantly breaking my leg above the knee. As I started to fall the plate flexed, twisted and hit me in the leg again. I now have steel plates inside the leg holding the bones together. At the moment I take 15 tablets a day for the pain. Unfortunately the bones are not healing so next year I will have to have another operation on my leg. If I am lucky I will be able to walk without crutches by next Christmas and start riding my motorbikes in 2009. Thank you Rolf for this game It is one of the things I can do/play to take my mind off the pain
