Zootier´s PoC Shipyard

I have just downloaded Port Chalmers, and I have discovered, that one of the pictures, is tha same pictures, used in Dunedin. My question now is,
is that a mistake, or is Port Chalmers, and Dunedin the same place, just with different names?

It does not matter, I was just curioud.

The main port of Dunedin is Port Chalmers!

Dunedin it self has only a waterdeep of approx. 8 meters, so all the big ships call Port Chalmers. The container terminals are all at Port Chalmers.

Again there is a new update online.

I have uploaded my containership Osaka Bay (2.961 TEU, build 1973),
my Car Carrier Century Leader No. 5 and

the rest of Frujus New Zealand Ports (Nelson, Port Taranaki, Picton, Wellington, Westpoint and Whangarei). Again i have reworked them a bit.

Today i have changed a lot on my website design.

I have worked on the design and i have choosen a more "eyefriendly" Background color.
Nearly all container ships and all cruiseliners and ferrys are available as .zip Download. You only have to unzip them into the \user_addons\ships folder, all the files (xml, side- and topviews) are copied in the correct folders automaticly.
And the Container ships are now sorted after generations.

I hope you like the new features, i will rework the rest of the page in the next weeks.

Ok, lets come to the interesting stuff Wink

Todays Updates:

"Der Seewolf" has done the post panamax container ship CMA CGM Berlioz (6.627 TEU, build 2001) and the super post panamax container ship CMA CGM La Traviata (8.488 TEU, build 2006).
And he has reworked his container ships YM Hiroshima and Wan Hai 221 (Redrawn section).

I have done the Panamax container ships OOCL Honour (3.981 TEU, build 1989) and MSC Veronique (2.450 TEU, build 1976).

Hello Zootier. I have discovered, something strange on your site. you have a ship called CMA CGM Berlioz, but when you try to save the pictures it says Sealand New york, and you also got sealand New york, on your site, right under the CMA CGM Berlioz. My question is, is there a bug somewhere, or is it only me. Smile

Das selbe "Problem" gibt es mit der La Traviata und der COSCO Yantian.

Looks like "copy and paste" and then forgot to adjust ...
Clicking on the picture opens the correct zip-file. It's only the title left oft the picture which bears a wrong link.

The new ship will only be available as .zip download, the old "copy & paste pages" will be terminated in near future when i´m sure everything with the new design works like it should work.

I will fix that in a few minutes!

First of all, all Ships except the Redrawn are now available as .zip Download.

"Der Seewolfs" has redone his container ship Maersk Toyama.

I have uploaded my container ships Cape Charles (2.571 TEU, build 1986) and Sea-Land Innovator (2.816 TEU, build 1980).

Simply unzip the downloaded packages into the /pocxxl/user_addons/ships folder and the ship is available in your game!

Update Time!

Today i have only one new ship, the fastes Ocean Liner ever build, the S.S. United States (1.928 passengers, build 1952).

And i have updated a lot of my old ships, the first i have uploaded are my tankers.

- new Sideview and reworked xml for VLCC Tanker Buko Maru
- Topviews and reworked Sideviews for ULCC Tanker Marine Pacific, Kapetan Hiotis and Media Star,
- Topviews for VLCC Tanker Berge Duke and Otina
- Topviews for ULCC Tanker Esso Caribbean online
- reworked Sideviews for VLCC Tanker Berge Stadt, Front Duke, Grand Lady, Hua San, Murex and Yohteisan.

And i have uploaded Topview, reworked Sideview and xml for the Container ship YM Yantian.

Topviews and reworked Sideviews for bulkers Bergeland, Hanjin Sydney and Opportunity,
reworked Sideviews for bulkers Invader, Ocean Trinity, Brilliant Corners, Main Ore and NSS Bonanza,
reworked Sideviews for Woodchip Carrier Sweet Brier, Daio Azalea and Milky Way,
Topviews for bulker Japan Linden, Pacific Glory, Port Victoria and Hanjin Calcutta.

Update Time!

Today "Der Seewolfs" has done the container ships Argonaut (1.236 TEU, build 1979) and Sierra Express (1.534 TEU, build 1977),

and he has redrawn his container ships Eagle Express, YM South and NYK Leo.

I have uploaded Top Views for my container ships Ambassador Brigde and Jilfar, and for my Ro/Ro Ships Rotoiti, Midnight Merchant and Stena Forwarder.
