As you know the Panama Canal is limited (till completion of the works in progress...) to vessels up to abt 80000 DWT or having lengh of abt 260 meters and breadth of max 32.25 mts.
Th Navigation in St. Lawrence River from Montreal to all ports in the Great Lakes is limited to vessels up to about 30000 DWT, due to smaller locks and draft restrictions.
Actually in the game we can sail up to any port of such area with any vessel of any size.
There could be the chance to set restrictions in ports like Montreal, Detroit, Chicago, etc. for the bigger vessels?
This could be more realistic.

yes but we need to provide an addition mechanism, as you can set the homeport to chicago, then all ships will start in chicago and get stuck if you restrict the access of the ships, so for the great lakes some special handling is necessary, |

I understand that's not so easy. A solution, for those willing to set the home port in the Great Lakes as well as for everybody, could be to have also the chance to purchase the vessels in any other port around the world. As it usually happens.
Of course, mine are only suggestions.
Your sincerely,

yes if you got the new license already (pocsim3dii will run), press the license button in pocxxl, then you see a forum button, there you get a code, which you enter into the forum profile of your account, then the license status is available.
If you dont have the new license key let me know, I can trigger a resent for swreg. |
