When I tried to move Viking Tanker through lock leaving the port it was to long and I could not figure out another way out . The ship eventually would go no further and the Quay message reported a touch. |

Herr Klein,
I thank you for your quick reply and your suggestion to purchase the expansion packs for an improved visual and a more diversivied harbor experience. I look forward to purchasing your next pack of ships. By using the term "substituting" the Jahr Viking, I am not sure what this means but thanks for looking into it.
Also concerning the expansion pack, everything loaded as shown on the detailed Exp. Pack guide, but when I went to my game the Hamburg Express does not reflect the new freight criteria shown on the detailed list. The freight and weights are still as shown on XXL. Although I am only on Year 1986. The other ships available up to this date are consistent with advertised data. My knowledge of computer programming is minimal. |

For the viking, the most similar is used by pocsim3dii, but anyway I have to look why a berth is used not fitting.
The hamburg express, I will also have a look, freigth and weight shoudl be the same as in xxl ? ! where is the difference ? |

Herr Klein.
The description of bow thruster "only" and actual game vessel specifications as shown on broker screen is length 273 m, beam 32.2 m, teu 3010, dwt 49532 t but your expansionpack list # 1 shows Hamburg at length 320.58 m, width 42.8 m, no dwt given just gwt, teu 7506, and both speeds are about the same just 7 tenths diference. Actuual use of new Hamburg Ship has bow and stern thrusters.
I also found that the harbor Caracas (la guaria) is being substituted by Curacao (wil.) harbor. When I steer by hand the harbor for Caracas never activates the Wimstad shows up instead. I was using Seagauardian and other ships.
I hope this helps! |

I will have a look where the difference come from,
also for curacao it looks liek a typing error in our datalist as then the fuzyy search find a similar sounding harbour. |

In PoC XXL the first Hamburg Express build 1972 is used.
In PoC 2008 Deluxe the new Hamburg Express build 2002 is used, and thats the same ship that is used in the expansionpack for PoCSim 3DII and the reason for the different datas! _________________ Visit http://www.pocshipyard.de for free ships and harbours |

maybe I have to add the year of built for the search of the ships for example, currently the name is dominant. |
