Does anyone ever manage to get it?
Status 34 seems unreachable to me... |

Perhaps it has something to do with the year you are in. _________________ Poc is a lifestyle |

2010.
So, the year has influence on the required status?
Interesting, I guess I can wait as I cannot raise it over 24 in a stable way... |

Try selling ships, and buy others.
Dont reserve fright and deliver them too late.
My staus is over 110 and i'm only in the 80's. |

I never reserce freights and usually deliver them in time, got marketing set to maximum as well as maintenance.
Usually buying a ship gives me 2-3 status points for a while but then they get back to low level...
Does having old ships around influence status? |

You can also use the 2D sim a lot. Each correctly ended 2D sim will give you +1 points. I always use it in the beginning of a game. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

Are the 2dsim points stable or do they wash off over time? |

usually all status pionts should remain.
so if you buy a good vessel in 1980 for example
and sell the ship in the late 1990s you should have
4 points for the ship at 1980 minus one point when buying the vessel.
So 3 points should remain.
I'm not sure about it, but i think the first subwater vessel appears in year 2012.
Best Regards,

Sub mariner appeared in 2008 for me...
I still have the old mclean, and don't want to give it up because its 33 knots are very handy for quick deliveries, do you think it affects status? |

I don't think so. I just wonder, why you can't buy the sub mariner.
I think I'll have to try myself....
But I never had a problem with getting this kine of ship...

Thanks for your answer, I guess I'll buy a few ships to reach the status and resell them... |
