For the new license system to work I provide an update this was necessary due to vista sp1 admin problems. The license is now stored in the registry. The old file is copied, new licenses will be provided as an update.
New license files can be installed by a simple double click

1.0.8 was a small update for the forum button (online update only)

some new features in 1.0.7 (more will come in the next update soon):

1 sort by shipname
2 company name displayed when ship sinking
3. dynamic handling of user addons - removeof the fixed limits for ships,goods and harbours.

- bugfix of 1.0.6 when starting a new game, the traing was not possible -- ths is fixed now. Rolling Eyes

Online update available and also the installer based versions:

Attention: we require now the VB6Sp6 runtime, also all online user use either the Microsoft update or use the web based installer.

Full installation:
get the Full Download (64 MB) - 1.0.7

Web based Installer (loads differences)
get the Full Web based download and upgrade (800 KB) - 1.0.7

We just try to survive the economic crisis -- I wish I could afford more manpower. I always have to switch between the projects currently.

But Pocxxl is next on the todo list. We just did the harbour editor which was also for Pocxxl.

Hm, just tried the web installer from the link above, but the version is still 1.07 (and the button is still missing). As far as I noticed, the only downloaded file was weather8.swf (I renamed it to get rid of the sound).
I also downloaded the full Installer, but it has the same file size as the old one, so i did no try an install.
What am I doing wrong?

you need to do the online update! (online button), I didnt update the webinstaller jet.
