I would like to change the current highscore system
at the moment its sorted for
status, ships and property,
I think it might be better to change this to
property, status, ships
to the highest property wins.

this will also come for th iPhone version but in a seperate highscore.

for pocsim3dii we will have a highscore for each town
with fastest berth but this is also to be discussed (as it depends on the ship and berth also) , so maybe sorted by berth place and shiptype. |

I think for PoCXXL it would be great to have them sorted on property first. The number of status points depends highly on the activity in 2D/3D simulation. If you don't use simulation in your XXL game you will have way less status points. And less status points make it harder to gain more property cause you can't buy all ships and will get lower prices for the freight.
For 3D it should be sorted on berth and ship. In some ports (Antwerp for example) it takes about 12 minutes to sail to the furthest berthing spot, while the easiest berthing spot is about 2 minutes sailing. _________________ Freight Containers In The Port Of Antwerp |

Very good.
Furthermore I think the number of status points earned with 3D should also consider the severity of the job.
1 - Job done or not
2 - Time used
3 - What rank (Beginner, Advanced, Expert, or Master)
4 - Environment (daytime sunshine = very easy, nighttime dense fog = very tough)

the 3d highscore is also something to be done in the next time. Still think about how to have a overvew which is not too complcated as it will get a highe highscore list. |
