I've been playing Ports of Call since I was a child, but haven't been playing in a long time. A few weeks ago, I recovered my old hobby. But I have no experience at all in downloading new ships, harbours and goods.
I am playing PoC now, and PoC-date is May 13th, 2018 - but there are no large ships available, only used. How can I add ships, harbours and goods? Please help!

Hi,

you can find several links to external collections of goods/habours/ships in the tread "XXL User Made Ports, Goods, Vessels".

For example, two links that offer a great choice are:
http://www.zootierspocshipyard.de.vu/ or http://poc.bigbear.de/goods/sammlung.php

Just download the goods/habours/ships you want and place them in the corresponding user_addons\<type> directory of POC. After that, you only have to check "load user addons" upon starting POC. As far as I know, it is not possible to load addons into an already running game (though I am not completely sure about that).

It is one year old. Further developments will continue as soon as RDK starts working on poc xxl again. Be patient.

The zip file contains informations about handling the data.

es gibt noch nichts neues, der alte Link (4 Einträge nach oben) ist noch gültig.

Leider ist in die weitere PoC-Entwicklung immer noch keine Fahrt gekommen, aber die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt.

ich würde gerne die Schiffe etc installieren aber irgendwie habe ich gar keinen Ordner user_addons. Muss ich den von Hand erstellen ?

Vielen Dank für deine Mühe. Nach langem wollte ich mal wieder poc spielen. Die von den Usern erstellten Häfen haben immer wieder Fehlermeldungen ausgelöst. Ich war nicht in der Lage die Fehler zu beheben, da ich die xml-Dateien nicht bearbeiten konnte.
Deine user_addon.zip-Datei hat alle Probleme glöst. Vielen Dank
